Srinivas Teppala

Epidemiologist, The Hopkins Centre

Srinivas Teppala is a Senior Research Fellow at the Hopkins Centre, Griffith University with a background in Medicine, Epidemiology, Health Outcomes Research and Big Data Analytics. In his current role Dr.Teppala is working on several projects that examine: the association between Sleep patterns and functional status after Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Stroke, the impact of innovative procedures such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in recovery of motor function after TBI and Stroke, predictors of self-reported health status after injury, predictors of hospital length of stay for elderly patients receiving rehabilitation care for orthopaedic conditions as well as trajectories of language development in children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Prior to his current assignment at the Hopkins Centre, Dr. Teppala has more than 10 years of research experience in the United States and India. Where he worked with experts in the field of Medicine, Epidemiology and Rehabilitation Sciences utilizing big data from the Centres for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), a representative sample of the United States population.
