Tenelle Hodson

Dr Tenelle Hodson is an occupational therapy lecturer with a strong research interest in the sustainability of healthcare services, inclusive of economic, social, and environmental sustainability. Much of her research has focused on the lived experiences of people with illness and disability, particularly neurological conditions and injuries, in order to better understand what is required from services in order to meet needs.

Dr Hodson is particularly interested in the contextual factors that influence the diversity of outcomes for such individuals and finding ways to ensure these are considered when creating or implementing approaches to improve health outcomes and occupational participation and engagement. She believes that partnering with people with lived experience when doing this is vital for the success of such approaches and aims to integrate co-design into her research projects.
