Advanced Queensland Telehealth Project

About the Project

COVID-19 led to unprecedented disruption to therapy and support services for many people with disability, particularly Queenslanders on the autism spectrum and their families. Disconnection from face-to-face services creates a multitude of risks, such as children missing out on intervention that is critical for learning to talk, and young adults not having access to specialist behaviour services that protect against self-harm and harm to others, amongst other essential services that are paramount for maintaining well-being.
