Identifying models, processes, and components of vocational rehabilitation following acquired brain injury: a systematic scoping review

Published 31st October 2021

A systematic scoping review was conducted to investigate vocational rehabilitation (VR) in acquired brain injury (ABI). The study aimed to identify models of ABI VR, clinical processes and components of ABI VR reported in the literature.

The study identified 16 models, 9 process steps, 8 components plus 4 service-delivery components used in providing ABI VR.

These findings can inform and support clinicians to deliver key aspects of ABI VR in their future practice.
