Brain Injury Awareness Week 2025

August 18th - August 24th

Brain Injury Awareness Week (BIAW) 2025 will be held from August 18 to August 24, focusing on raising awareness about brain injuries and their impacts.

BIAW is all about celebrating the strength of the 1 in 45 Australians living with its impact every day. The theme for BIAW 2025 is “Invisible disabilities deserve visible change.” This theme aims to highlight how brain injuries, often considered "invisible disabilities," intersect with various societal issues. The week will provide a platform for advocacy and support for individuals living with brain injuries.

Stay tuned for Hopkins brain injury research featured during BIAW week on our website, newsletter and social media channels.
