A person who sustains a brain injury is likely to experience many transitions in their care and rehabilitation, as they move between different health services & settings. Where transitions are not well supported, there is a risk that the person may feel their needs and preferences are overlooked or don’t matter. This study aims to improve these transitions for people.

Gary Kerridge has been working in the disability sector for 30 years. He has spent 14 of those years as a National Disability Coordination Officer (NDCO). Recently, he was part of the NDCO leadership team that responded to the transition to online learning brought about by COVID-19 to provide support and information to disability practitioners around Australia. He is a co-author of the Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET) guideline “Supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students Online”.
