Hopkins Hour: Meaningful Research through Stakeholder Engagement - 17 May, 2023

How do researchers meaningfully include the lived experience, knowledge and voice of stakeholders, of vital importance to the integrity and outcomes of research? At The Hopkins Centre, we believe that by engaging stakeholders, we are better equipped to explore bold ideas, producing knowledge that solves challenges and uncovering better solutions for the future.

In this Hopkins Hour, Dr Christy Hogan and Dr Delena Amsters shared reflections from two projects associated with our TRaCE flagship - the Complex Rehabilitation in Systems under Immense Stress project and Aus-InSCI International Spinal Cord Injury translation project - discussing and describing methods of genuine stakeholder engagement across the research continuum. Dr Camila Shirota discussed the facilitation of meaningful stakeholder involvement at the HabITec lab.
