Jessie Mitchell
Research Fellow
Jessie received her PhD in Social Psychology and also holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), and a Diploma of Graphic Design. Jessie is experienced in using both qualitative and quantitative research methods to support better outcomes for people with disability. Her current research interests include:
- approaches to co-designing advanced rehabilitation technologies,
- methods for promoting the translation of rehabilitation technologies into clinical and home settings,
- the use of assistive technologies to support cognitive function following brain injury,
- ways to support self-advocacy during transitions in care among people with brain injury, and
- enablers of sustained employment following brain and spinal cord injury.
