Jessie Mitchell

Research Fellow

Jessie received her PhD in Social Psychology and also holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), and a Diploma of Graphic Design. Jessie is experienced in using both qualitative and quantitative research methods to support better outcomes for people with disability. Her current research interests include:

approaches to co-designing advanced rehabilitation technologies,
methods for promoting the translation of rehabilitation technologies into clinical and home settings,
the use of assistive technologies to support cognitive function following brain injury,
ways to support self-advocacy during transitions in care among people with brain injury, and
enablers of sustained employment following brain and spinal cord injury.
