Kate Graving
Kate Graving, Senior Physiotherapist, Metro South Health
Kate works within the multidisciplinary concussion clinic at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, where she has contributed to the development of the physiotherapy role within the service. She has also worked within the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Unit and various vestibular clinics, developing expertise in vestibular and acquired brain injury rehabilitation. Kate is currently completing a Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy). She has a strong clinical interest in vestibular and acquired brain injury rehabilitation.
Kate has contributed to research in the fields of vestibular and acquired brain injury rehabilitation. She has been involved in a systematic review titled Vestibular Rehabilitation: Improving Symptomatic and Functional Outcomes of Persons with Vestibular Schwannoma, and is currently undertaking her Master of Clinical Rehabilitation (Neurological Physiotherapy) research, titled Vestibular Screening in Traumatic Brain Injury: A Mixed-Methods Study of Screening Practices, Predictive Factors, and Barriers in Acute and Sub-Acute Care.
