Professor Mickan’s research has focused on three major streams; (1) the active integration of current research in clinical practice (2) building research skills and capacity in healthcare clinicians (3) promoting interprofessional learning and teamwork. In her current position, she designs and evaluates strategies to promote the research knowledge and engagement of allied health clinicians. She has a strong publishing record, with over 40 international peer-reviewed publications, 2 book chapters and several government reports that have influenced policy and practice.
