Assistive Solutions Expo 2018
The free event will be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre in South Brisbane on Saturday, 12 May.
Attendees will be able to see the latest in assistive equipment and technology from dozens of exhibitors, hear from professional guest speakers and attend useful information sessions about a range of issues and topics and find new ways to increase their independence and quality of life.
Representing The Hopkins Centre, Professor Elizabeth Kendall is presenting at 12.00 noon on technology in rehabilitation. The presentation will focus on future proofing rehabilitation and technology take-up. Professor Kendall will introduce several speakers to showcase their ground-breaking research, latest technology and provide demonstrations.
The Expo is designed to be a place to connect, participate and learn for people with a physical disability, their families and carers, industry professionals and other people involved in the disability community.
The team from Spinal Life Australia will also be there to answer your questions and provide information about our services, available support and the NDIS.
