Dr Kylie Ferguson is a Rehabilitation Medicine Physician working with people with disability to maximise their independence, function and quality of life. She works as a staff specialist with the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service in Princess Alexandra Hospital and West Moreton Health Service providing general rural rehabilitation in Boonah Hospital, offering both inpatient and outpatient services. Additionally, she assists as a Visiting Medicine Officer at St Andrew’s Ipswich Hospital. Her professional interests include neurology with a particular focus on acquired and traumatic brain injury. Dr Ferguson holds a master’s degree in Speech Pathology and began her career in inpatients, outpatients and schools in Queensland, Canada, and Ireland. She later completed a medical degree, followed by specialisation in Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians).
Kylie is also a recipient of a Hopkins Centre Bright Sparks Clinical Fellowship for her project titled "Multidisciplinary intervention for post-traumatic headaches following concussion: a scoping review".
