Hopkins Hour

The final Hopkins Hour for 2025 on 26th November explored innovative approaches to managing persistent pain, with a focus on treatment adherence and peer support.

Hosted by Professor Michel Coppieters, the session presented findings from a multicentre randomised clinical trial comparing a blended eHealth and in-person physiotherapy intervention with usual care for people with persistent pain and psychosocial risk factors.

Due to technical issues we were unable to hear from Jonathan Dearness, Senior Physiotherapist at Gold Coast University Hospital and PhD candidate on the day. We hope to make his presentation available soon where he will share insights into patient experiences from the UPLIFT biopsychosocial group program.

The session concluded with an interactive Q&A and key takeaway for clinicians working with people living with chronic pain.
