Hopkins Researchers win MSH Grant Funding

Congratulations to THC grant winners under the Metro South Health SERTA grant program!

 

This year was the most successful for the Division of Rehabilitation (DoR) and Hopkins collaboration, with research involvement and affiliation in five grant awards spanning across three clinical areas in one year. Two of those led by researchers from The Hopkins Centre. 

Prof. Timothy Geraghty, Medical Chair DoR and Co-Director of The Hopkins Centre said, "I have no doubt that it has been the establishment of The Hopkins Centre that has been the key driver in expanding DoR’s research culture which now flourishes across all our services. Our success across spinal, brain and pain teams at the MSH Research Support Scheme Awards is a wonderful reflection of that"

 

Ms Janelle Griffin, Occupational Therapist Team Lead Occupational Therapy, Division of Clinical Support Services, PA Hospital, won Co-Funded Collaboration Grant

Dr Emily Brooks, Endocrinologist Diabetes and Endocrinology, Division of Medicine, PA Hospital, won a project grant.
Project Title: Romosozumab for the prevention of osteoporosis and fractures in spinal cord injury
