Hopkins Researchers welcomed as members of Committee for Brisbane

Two of our researchers, Kelly Clanchy and Coral Gillett, have been nominated and accepted to share their expertise on the Committee for Brisbane - an independent, not-for-profit organisation that is committed to helping shape greater Brisbane as the world’s most liveable place.

There are a total of 4 sub-committees which make up the Committee for Brisbane, with Kelly and Coral representing to 2 different sub-committees on behalf of The Hopkins Centre:

  • Kelly will share her expertise in the ‘Equity’ sub-committee,
  • Coral will be part of the ‘Connectivity’ sub-committee.

For more than 60 years, the Committee for Brisbane has been an influential, apolitical organisation that provides strong advocacy in creating a better greater Brisbane. The committee's forums provide a platform for robust discourse and debate on big ideas and issues to shape a more dynamic, equitable, accessible, connected and exciting city.

With a diverse membership from fields including corporate and business sectors, the creative industries, higher education sector and community, Kelly and Coral are thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to this conversation!

A great representation of Hopkins Centre!
