Health interventions that people want and need
The aim of this stream is to develop, apply and measure effective practices, techniques and technologies that support early intervention, prevention, optimise community participation and improve quality of life for people with disability. It includes evaluation and implementation of complex interventions related to biomedical and clinical therapeutic techniques, clinical assessment, screening practices and tools, psychosocial strategies, and family and group based programs.
- New and adapted rehabilitation practices addressing clinical challenges, innovation and early intervention across of key populations: State wide Spinal Injury population, Statewide Brain Injury Population, Musculoskeletal health Persistent pain, Amputees, Early Childhood, Cardiac disability, Degenerative disability
- Person-centered practice looks at respectful and dignified practices for all.
